Today, most large developers insure their risks, thus minimizing the risks to which buyers of the residential space may be exposed.
Because of the current, unfavorable economic situation, potential buyers fear that they will not be able to get their residential space if they invest in it at the early phase of a construction project, when space acquisition is the most lucrative.
However, only clients of bad-practice developers operating outside the legal playing field may become “defrauded purchasers”. The RDI company, as well as other developers operating in strict conformity with Federal Law No. 214-FZ, insure their liability under an obligatory procedure. As a result, in case of occurrence of the insured event, the RDI company will repay to the client in full the funds paid by the client under a contract of participation in the co-financed construction project. The entire process of purchase and sale is controlled by the Federal Service of State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr), which demands conclusion of the liability insurance contract and availability of the insurance policy. No contract of participation in the co-financed construction project will be registered without presentation of these documents.
Dear buyers, take note that you will bear no additional costs. The RDI liability will be insured by the RDI company.
